I try to play with different mediums, but watercolour is my first and true love. I love its fluidity, its unpredictable nature, its elusive light. I love how watercolor embraces the elements - air, water, light, making them work together. There is no going back with watercolour, and it also what fascinates me. Win or fail in every brushstroke.
I always paint to the music: jazz, classics, flamenco, bossa nova, blues - and watercolour for me is a perfect medium to reflect it, celebrating the atmosphere, the music, the light, the colour.
